Refund and Cancellation Policy

Document services

For document services (application diagnostics, resume, personal statement, and transcript reviews), you may cancel for a full refund any time before the tutor marks your order delivered. Once a tutor has delivered their feedback, the work is done and the order is no longer refundable.

Live sessions

For live sessions (mock interviews and tutoring), you may cancel for a full refund up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations inside that window, and no shows, are not refundable, because the tutor reserved that time for you.

If you cannot make your time, you can reschedule to a new time at no extra charge, as long as you do it before the session starts. Your payment simply carries over to the new time, so rescheduling is always better than missing the session.

A session is treated as a no show if you have not joined within 15 minutes of the start time and have not rescheduled. A no show is charged in full and paid to the tutor. If your tutor does not show, you are refunded in full.

How refunds are issued

Refunds are returned to your original payment method through Stripe and include the service fee. Bank processing times vary, but most refunds appear within 5 to 10 business days.

Problems with an order

If something went wrong with an order, message your tutor first through the order thread. If you cannot resolve it, contact us and we will review the case.
